GET OUT OF THE RED ZONE: TEENS​
 

  • Have you ever said or done something you later regretted, like being irritable with a parent or sibling?

  • Do you ever avoid doing something because it stresses you out?

  • Do you ever feel so overwhelmed that you can’t focus or sleep?

If you answered “yes,” then you were likely in the Red Zone.

​

The Red Zone is when you are experiencing high levels of stress, or “distress,” which is the negative aspect of stress. When in the Red Zone, anxiety, overwhelm, low self-confidence and poorer performance prevail.
